First had foremost, happy 4th of July! I know most people don't get this as much as I do, but so much of our freedom is based on real estate. The idea of having private property and doing with it as you please plays (and played) a huge part in what our founding fathers believed was critical to a free society. So take a moment to remind yourself how lucky you are to be an American!
Unfortunately, on this day of celebration we must again turn our attention to a government which seems to be operating under some crazy assumptions. The kind of assumptions that got us into this mess in the first place!
