hleTwo homes managed to sell in Holiday Lake Estates in January 2007.

However, you could not get a more varied result in numbers. One home sold in 16 days, while it took the other a whopping 196 days to finally sell!  While that gives us an average of over 100 days for a home to sell in Holiday Lake Estates, given the small sample and huge variety between those two, I cannot say we should give too much weight to that number.

Read on for all the activity in Holiday Lake Estates in January 2007. 

One home was listed in Holiday Lake Estates in January 2007.  Two homes actually closed escrow and one more went into escrow. This is actually a very respectable level of activity for our community. At the time this article is being written, there are 4 homes currently listed for sale in Holiday Lake Estates.

 The average home price in January is just over a million at $1,159,500. Of the two homes sold in January, one got 100% and the other got 98% of the asking price. These are excellent numbers considering over the last year we have seen this trending down. 

Whats interesting is the wide variety in the days on the market. Clearly those homes that show well and are priced right are selling relatively quickly.

However, keep in mind that most of the homes currently listed have been on the market for months.  Clearly price is not the only issue at play since all the homes that sold in January were over 1 million.

The key issues here seem to be the ability of properties to attract the limited number of buyers in the marketplace. This comes down not only to pricing and property appeal, but the ability of agents to market a home in such a way that it gets the greatest amount of attention.
