hleOne home sold in Holiday Lake Estates in February. In this case, it took just over 90 days. Despite being a number higher than what we are used to, it is definately on par with what we are seeing in the overall real estate market.

In this particular case, it did not hurt that the home which sold was below the 1 million mark. Another home is in contract in February, and it too is under the 1 million dollar mark.

Other properties that are over 1 million  are on the market, but they have not been active long enough to yet say anything definitive about what this most recent data might hold for their prospects of selling quickly. Read on for all the details.

Frankly, there is not much here that can help us decide what direction the market is heading.

We are seeing a normal number of homes active in the month of February. None of the currently listed pieces of real estate have been on the market for a particularly long time.

We did see one home removed from the market after 17 days. In fact, this continues a relatively new trend where homes appear on the market for a few weeks then are removed. All these properties tend to be over the 1 million mark and also tend to be priced a bit higher than the market seems to support. One guess here would be that these are more speculative sellers, trying to see if they can get their price in the current market. Clearly, if that is the case, they are not getting the answer they want.
