While average sales price is up compared to the same time last year, it is below the average list price.
We are continuing to see more homes listed than sold. This just adds more homes to the existing inventory. So each month, buyers have more homes to choose from and sellers have more competition.

The county overall actually saw a decrease in the average sales price when compared to last year!
Just as we saw with Santa Clara County, San Jose also saw the average home price drop – by an even greater amount than the county overall did!
Gilroy is currently the standout with average sales prices in this city up by nearly 19%!
